ARGUS Appoints Former IBAC Director As Corporate Flight Department Liaison
ARGUS International, Inc. (ARGUS) is pleased to announce the recent addition of Jim Cannon, Principal Consultant for Sundog Aviation, as the Corporate Flight Department Liaison for ARGUS International.
With over 40 years of experience in the business aviation industry, Cannon boasts an exceptionally impressive career. Cannon has held a wide array of positions, including: Director of Flight Operations for Home Depot, IS-BAO Program Director for IBAC, President of Jet Professionals and 11 cumulative years as Chief Pilot for several business aviation flight operations. An accredited ARGUS, IS-BAO, IS-BAH and BARS Auditor, Cannon also holds type ratings in seven business aviation aircraft, and has accumulated over 14,000 flight hours.

Cannon is a published author of, “Practical Applications in Business Aviation Management” and has authored more than 80 business aviation articles, dating back to 1985.
Additionally, Cannon holds an M.B.A. and Post M.B.A Certificate in Organizational Development and Human Relations from the University of Connecticut. He is a previous Board of Directors member of NBAA and co-founded the Georgia Business Aviation Association in 1998. Sundog Aviation, a business aviation consulting firm Cannon founded in 2014, is based in Sunset South Carolina.
